PNG Prime Minister attends Pacific Island Leaders Meeting

 Prime Minister James Marape has flown out of the country yesterday and will be away for the next five days.



He's currently in Indonesia to hold talks President Joko Widodo surrounding issues on border security, trade, education and further strengthen the existing bilateral relations. 


From Indonesia his delegation travel to Japan for the Pacific Islands Leaders meeting (PALM) Summit that begins tomorrow and ends on Thursday this week.


Mr Marape is also expected to meet with Japan's Prime  Minister Fumio Kishida and other pacific island forum country leaders. 


The Prime Minister is being accompanied by Livestock Minister Seki Agisa, Oil Palm Minister Francis Maneke,International Trade and Investment Minister Richard Maru and Foreign Affairs Minister Justin Tkatchenko.
