Health Minister Dr Lino Tom responds to Madang Provincial Health Authority staff concerns

 This week Madang Provincial Health Authority staff made headlines with their petitions to the Provincial Member of Parliament Ramcy Pariwa and the Health Department.

Their petitions and demands were plain. They want an immediate appointment of an interim CEO of the PHA and audit of funds for the hospital.

Well as the saying goes, if there is smoke, there is fire.

The staff may have some prima facie allegations that need to be ascertained and if there arises culpability, the accused should be penalised.

Health Minister Dr Lino Tom has responded this week.
